In a culture awash in religiosity, the jeepney inside and out is a venue of religious expression. Inside, the dashboard is commonly used as a miniature altar space. Religious icons and rosary beads hang from the rear view mirror. On the sides of the metal shell, religious motifs and icons share space with other images, sometimes incongruously, as a Christ image next to a fighter jet. Above, images of the Lade of Perpetual Help and a Santo Niño seamlessly accomplished with stickers.

The outside shell frequently displays sticker art or aitbrush-painted religious images , often of the Virgin Mary, Madonna and Child or the Santo Niño.
